ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The author writes daily for the story.

I have always thought of myself as a tiny stone lying quietly on a vast beach, small. ordinary, easy to overlook.

However, this little stone has endured more storms than it ever expected. It has watched countless sunrises and sunsets. It has been battered by wind and rain, struck by thunder, and shaken beneath violent storms. More than once, it has been swept away by forces beyond its control, dragged from familiar ground, and thrown into places where the light seemed unable to reach.

At the bottom, I confronted to the darkest sides of human nature, mockery, manipulation, humiliation, cruelty, desperate.

There were moments when everything around me felt completely silent and pitch black. I could stretch out my hand and barely imagine my own fingers in front of me, let alone see a path forward.

But somewhere inside that darkness, a faint light remained, perhaps tiny, but alive. I refused to believe that fate had already written the ending of my story. So I kept moving.

Sometimes I walked. Sometimes I crawled. Sometimes all I could do was hold on and move forward one small distance at a time. With an exhausted body, a stubborn heart, and that fragile glimmer still burning inside me, I slowly found my way back toward the surface.

Eventually, the tiny stone returned to the shore. Not untouched, not unchanged, but stronger, wiser, and still capable of reflecting the light.

The values that guide my life and my writing are simple: kindness, optimism, courage, and perseverance.

Through my stories, I hope to pass that small light to people. When life becomes difficult, I hope my words remind you that hope can still shine through even the darkest moments. When the road feels painfully long, I hope they give you a little bit more courage to continue. When the world feels cold, I hope they offer a little warmth.

Amidst life’s struggles, unexpected turns, and imperfections of life, I hope they can still make you smile.

I may only be a tiny stone on an enormous beach. But even the smallest stone carries a story. This is mine. And perhaps somewhere within it, you may find a piece of your own.

Keep the rain out. Read what I can't say out loud.
